586 – Leigh – Gin Pit – Tyldesley – Parsonage Retail Park Circular
We are pleased to inform you that from Monday 24th April 2017 our contract with Transport for Greater Manchester will operate for an extra 6 months.
The route has been extended to Tyldesley Town Centre and is no longer hourly. The new route will operate every 80 minutes so please check out the new timetable here.
583 Sunday service – Hag Fold, Atherton, Westleigh, Leigh
We are pleased to inform you that from Sunday 23rd April 2017 our contract with Transport for Greater Manchester has been extended for a further two years.
There has been a slight change made to the timetable by TfGM and the final departure from Leigh will now be at 1720.

Please be aware that on Good Friday and Easter Monday the only service we are able to operate is our 583 Hag Fold, Atherton, Westleigh, Leigh Circular. Click here for the timetable.
Normal services on Saturday and back to normal on Tuesday 18th April 2017.
Everyone at Jim Stones would like to wish you a happy Easter
Our brand new bus, B1 JYM, was badly damaged at 5.15pm on Tuesday 15th November 2016.
The incident occurred on Nel Pan Lane near Old Clare Farm.
The vandals can be seen hiding on the lane behind Glover Street and Garden Vale. They are about to leave, when they see our bus, and return to their hiding spot.
As the bus passed, they threw what appeared to be handfuls of stones at the bus – shattering three side windows.
We appreciate the video isn’t good enough to recognise faces, but there is enough to identify these criminals. They were also throwing items at passing cars and vans before B1 JYM was targeted.
Fortunately, there were no passengers in the affected section of the bus and whilst a little shaken up at the time, the driver was uninjured and has recovered from the incident. B1 JYM has also made a full recovery to the tune of £1,000 !
